Welcome to the Admin Hub

Everything you need for your upcoming book fair.

Book fair admins, we are here to help!

Our goal is to help you feel confident running your Ready, Let’s Read book fair. The admin hub is your home base for all tutorials, explanations, promotion materials, and more!

Not registered for your book fair yet?

Let’s start from the beginning!

Ready, Let’s Read is an online Christian book fair and fundraiser in one! Founded with a mission to provide a book fair that’s easy to manage and rooted in a Biblical worldview, Ready Let’s Read takes the guesswork out of selecting appropriate books for your students. We carefully curate a collection of hundreds of titles for the whole family. Ranging from beloved classics to exciting new releases, we ensure they align with your values and are books you can trust.

How does the book fair work?

  • To start your book fair process you need to first sign up for a free account. Carefully fill out the form on the home page, providing us with all of the information we need to create your school’s unique online book fair. Once you have filled out the form you will be sent two emails: one to confirm your registration for the book fair, and the other to verify your admin account (if you did not receive this email please reach out to info@readyletsread.com and we will resend it to you!)

  • Once you have registered for your book fair all you need to do is preview the materials and prepare your school for the upcoming book fair! A month before the book fair opens you will be sent a link to preview the list of titles that will be available on your book fair so you can feel confident about the books that will be offered to your students once the book fair unlocks. If you are signed up before the flyer deadline you will be mailed book fair flyers to hand out to your students. A digital copy will be available in the book fair materials section on the Admin Hub for those who missed the deadline or who need extras. In this section there will also be posters you can print out and display around the school, graphics you can post on your school’s social media, a detailed calendar with all important dates, and many other materials to help you get the word out! All of these materials will be coming soon for the fall so keep an eye out!

  • The book fair is finally here! Remind your students and their parents to shop your book fair. Remember, you will receive 10% cash back on book fair totals under $1,000 and 20% cash back on book fair totals over $1,000. We will send you an email that you can forward to your students/parents every day that the book fair is open. If you are unable to forward emails to your students you can use the “Email PDFs” from the Book Fair Materials section below and attach them in an email or newsletter instead.

While the book fair window is open you can check your school’s total on your admin profile by clicking the person icon in the top right corner on your school’s book fair. There you can see every order placed under your book fair and calculate your cash back total. You must be logged into your admin account to access your book fair orders.

REMINDER: You can place your own order for your school under your school account and get cash back on that purchase as well! Buy books for your school library or your personal library!

  • Once the book fair closes our team will begin packing your boxes. Your books will arrive between 5-10 days after the book fair closes. We will also mail you a Book Fair Kit which includes: your cash back check, bags, printed out check sheets for each order, a master order check sheet, and detailed instructions on handing out your families orders.

Once your books and Book Fair Kit arrive, sort and hand out the book fair orders. We encourage schools to make handing out the books into an exciting “Book Fair Day.”

Traditional wishlists

Wishlists are still available for everyone to use just like normal. Here is an overview of how they work!

  • Browse your school’s book fair and click the ❤️ button on any book you love (inside the product page, it’s right next to the Add to Cart button).

  • Choose which Wishlist to add it to—you can save it to an existing list or create a brand new one.

  • Hit Save and your Wishlist will be updated instantly.

  • To view your lists, open the Wishlist tab (use the button at the top of the page or find it under your profile in the top right corner).

  • Share your list by selecting the "share" button and copying the displayed link. Send the link to friends and family!

Post Recommended lists and Wishlists to your book fair home page. Recommended Lists are created and managed using the Wishlist tool in your admin account. When set up correctly, these lists can be posted on your book fair website to help families shop with confidence.

How to Create & Publish Recommended Lists

  • You’ll need:

    1. Your Admin login (your email you signed up with and the password you created)

    2. Your school’s Book Fair URL (your unique link that was emailed to you or visit the Find My Book Fair page and search for your school.)

    3. A few minutes to build and decide what type of lists you want to publish (examples below)

Tip: You can create as many Recommended Lists and Wishlists as you want. We recommend having at least 3 posted.

    1. Go to your school’s Book Fair website.

    2. Log in using your admin email and password.

    3. Once logged in, click the person icon in the top right corner.

You should see a screen titled “My Account” with a menu on the left.

    1. In the left-hand menu, click My Wishlists.

    2. You’ll now see a table labeled My Wishlists.

    This table shows:

    • Wishlist name

    • Date created

    • Quantity of books in the list

    • Action buttons (View, Share, Delete)

This is where all Wishlists and Recommended Lists are created and managed.

    1. In the top-right corner, click Add New Wishlist.

    2. Enter a Wishlist Name.

Use a name that parents immediately understand and clarify what type of list this is. (Wishlist or Recommended List)

    Recommended Reading Lists:

    • Kindergarten Recommended Reading

    • 4th Grade Recommended Summer Reading

    • Librarian-Recommended Titles

    Wishlists:

    • Mrs. Adam’s Library Refresh Wishlist (Purchase for our library.)

    • 4th Grade Book Collection (Help fill our classroom library)

    Save the List.

You’ll now see your new list appear in the My Wishlists table.

  • Books are added to your Lists while browsing the Book Fair, not from inside the list itself.

    How to add a book:

    1. Navigate through the Book Fair as if you were shopping.

    2. Click into a book you like to open the product page.

    3. On the book’s product page, locate the small heart icon next to Add to Cart.

    4. Click the heart icon.

Choose which list(s) to add the book to:

    1. A menu will pop up showing all of your existing Wishlists.

    2. Check the box next to the list (or lists) you want to add the book to, then hit Save.

      • You can add the same book to multiple lists if it fits more than one category.

    3. Close the menu once your selections are made.

The book is now saved to your selected List(s).

  • Under each wishlist name, you’ll see two checkboxes:

    1. Remove items after purchase

    • Leave unchecked (use for Recommended Lists): books stay visible even after purchase

    • Check this box only if you want books to disappear once purchased (traditional wishlist function).

    2. Promote on store homepage

    • Check this to publish the list on the home page of your Book Fair website

    • Leave unchecked to keep the list private

Important: To make your list a public Recommended List, “Promote on store homepage” must be checked.

  • After checking Promote on store homepage:

    1. Go to the Homepage of your Book Fair.

    2. Scroll down to the Custom Recommended Reading Lists section.

    3. Confirm your list is now posted.

If you don’t see it right away, refresh the page. If you still don’t see your list posted, make sure you are logged in under the same email you registered your school book fair with.

Contact us at info@readyletsread.com if you need help.

  • You can update lists throughout the fair.

    To edit:

    1. Go to My Account → My Wishlists

    2. Click View

    3. Add or remove books as needed

    4. Changes save automatically (or click Save, if prompted)

Your updates will reflect on the Book Fair website.

  • My list isn’t showing on the website

    • Make sure “Promote on store homepage” is checked

    • Confirm you’re logged in using your admin email

    • Confirm you’re on your school’s specific Book Fair URL

I want to remove a list

    • Click Delete next to the wishlist
      (This permanently removes it)
